Dear Corvette Enthusiast,
Thank you for your interest in Club Corvette of Connecticut
Club Corvette is a social-recreational organization with over 300 members. Our members come from all walks of life and have a wide range of individual interests.
However, we are all bound in friendship by a common thread of passion for America’s Sports Car, the Chevrolet Corvette.
Some of our members enjoy the personal satisfaction restoring, repairing and/or maintaining their Corvettes while others simply want to gas ‘em up and drive ‘em. We have members that drive their “Vettes” daily and others that enjoy testing the car’s performance limits on the race track. Our membership is State wide with members residing in Litchfield and Avon to the north, along the Route 8 and I-91 corridors south to New Haven and along the shoreline from Greenwich to Mystic.
We enjoy driving our Corvettes for personal pleasure taking day, overnight, three and four day weekend trips. Some members have taken week long trips to visit the National Corvette Museum and the GM Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
One of our greatest satisfactions comes from using our Corvettes in support of community activities such as Memorial and July 4th parades. Our Clubs largest and most significant event is our Annual Car Show in support of various Connecticut charities.
Ownership of a Corvette is not a requirement for membership, just a passion to preserve the Corvette as America’s Sports Car. Please consider joining with us in the Corvette experience. Attached are a more detailed history of Club Corvette and some of our typical activities.
