About Our Club
Dear Corvette Enthusiast,
Club Corvette of Connecticut was established in 1993 by a small group of Corvette enthusiasts. Since those early days, the Club has grown into one of the largest Corvette clubs in the Northeast, growing from the original 9 members to over 330 members today with 260 Corvettes.
Club members need not own a Corvette. The common thread that unites us all is our passion for and enjoyment of America’s #1 Sports Car, the Corvette. The generosity of our Club sponsors enables us to host our annual All Corvette Car Show and enjoy driving our Corvettes while also helping others in need. The proceeds from our Show allow us to support Connecticut charities, our Club’s adopted charity for many years is the Ronald McDonald House of New Haven. Our financial support helps them continue helping families of children being treated in nearby hospitals.
The members of Club Corvette of Connecticut enjoy driving their Corvettes to a wide variety of events such as car cruises, detailing workshops, group dinners and, especially, the huge gathering of enthusiasts at Corvettes at Carlisle every August for four fun-filled days of Corvettes. The National Corvette Museum also hosts a huge gathering of Corvette Enthusiasts with a Caravan Cruise to Bowling Green KY every four years, an event heavily attended by Club Corvette of Connecticut members. Every December, our members also proudly participate in our annual “Korvettes for Kids Toy Run” that supports the Connecticut State Police effort to provide toys to children in Connecticut.
Our monthly news is published in the Vette Gazette which features highlights of club activities and pertinent Corvette information, a calendar of upcoming events throughout Connecticut and neighboring states as well as a classified section. This website provides an in-depth view of Club Corvette of Connecticut, our generous sponsors, with an online membership application available for those who would like to join in on the activities of our Club.
Club meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Parthenon Diner Restaurant, 374 E Main Street in Branford. Club Corvette of Connecticut invites you to join us and share in the activities and camaraderie that centers around America’s Sports Car.
